07.01.2022 Soup weather YASSSS! Nourishing, super quick + super yummy! Ticks all my boxes Onion, diced... 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped Fresh chilli 2-3 depending on how you like your spice Big batch homemad chicken stock or enough stock to fill a big pot Veggies of choice Red Lentils + Cannelleni beans (are in this soup) but add whatever pulses you like Fresh parsley Sautee onion in a little olive oil or coconut oil. Add garlic and chilli. Add your vegetables, sautee, add some salt + pepper Fill saucepan with chicken stock. Add lentils, cook until lentils tender (10 mins). Add cannelleni beans before serving. Top with fresh parsley

The thing is... Land based exercise improves balance, builds strength and bone density which is even more important as we age. 06.01.2022 Dear Valued Clients It is with much regret that we are unable to reopen our swim school for the start of term 4 as previously advised. Unfortunately more info...rmation has been forwarded from Lake Macquarie Council deferring the reopening of the centre. Last week we excitedly began plans to resume lessons with the information we were given by the pool committee. It is our understanding the pools will re-open at some stage this year and once this occurs we will immediately resume lessons. Unfortunately we don’t know when this will happen so we have decided not to move forward with bookings until definite decisions and dates are made known to us. Please be assured we will continue to assist the Council and pool committee to reopen the centre as soon as possible. In the meantime staff are working hard to answer all calls, messages and emails. We understand families are desperate to resume lessons and although we now know we can not make this happen for the beginning of term 4 we are hopeful it won’t be too much longer. On a positive note we received a letter from the Mayor Kay Fraser which included the following statement, "I understand that the community is very keen to see this facility open and so am I. I also understand that this has been a very lengthy and long process, however as this facility has always been a community operated facility I feel that we should allow the new committee some time to investigate if they are able to bring the pools back up to the standard required. I want to also reassure you that this facility will not close and if the new committee is unable to run the facility, council will takeover the facility." We are beyond frustrated at the continued delays that are outside of our control but appreciate everyone’s continued support and patience.
