23.01.2022 Wow one year and 2 months down the track and doesnt Sandros leg look amazing! Shout out to Warwick Vale who put so much time and effort into this leg!! But ...the journey doesnt finish here, I am still putting @trmnutrition Equizal Natural Barrier Cream on the scar every day to protect it from the elements and keeping the skin moisturised, as well as boots every night to stop him from doing something silly to it It is very exciting to see little bits of hair growing over the top and the scar slowing reducing - #wounds #horsewound #degloved #leaderequine #teamleaderequine #leaderequineambassador #trm #scar #eventinghorse #injuryprone #horse See more

22.01.2022 Nutrition in-competition Who gets those competition in your stomach that make you not want to eat? I definitely do. Why is it so important t...o get good nutrition during the competition? Good nutrition can: get rid of brain fog speed up your reaction times improve stamina improve strategy and decision making So, try harder to find foods that you can eat on competition day. There is no secret remedy, its a matter of trying different options until you find what works for you. For me, its bananas. No matter how bad my butterflies are I can always eat bananas? I know another rider whose food that she can eat is custard? Keep trying different foods until you can find what works for you. Make sure you are backing this up with a good meal the night before competition. This meal will have a bigger influence than you know. I think if athletes know they will produce a better performance when they eat then they will try harder to find foods that work for them. There are studies to prove it but unfortunately we dont have the resources to do individual studies on each rider to put the hard facts in front of you. Believe me on this one! 14.01.2022 Were calling on the federal government to acknowledge the important role veterinarians play in society following Prime Minister Scott Morrisons announcement o...f a lockdown on non-essential businesses and services to curb the spread of the COVID-19. So far, veterinary services have not been mentioned in either of the governments two statements on which particular services were designated non-essential and would be required to shut down.
