19.01.2022 You are invited to our Sound Journey Weekend in honour of Yule: the Winter Solstice Saturday 19th June 5.30pm-9.15pm Sunday 20th June 10.45am - 2.30pm We will commence with Warm Spiced Winter Punch in the dining room or by the outside fire, before settling in the lounge area for a 30 minute indoor snug & dreamy candlelight/firelight Thunder Drum Dreaming Journey with our magnificent Thunder Drum. Then after a short break, we make our way to the Sound Sanctuary, where y...ou will sit or lie back, snuggled in, for 90 minutes as you are immersed in, and carried away upon, the pure tones of the crystal singing bowls, cosmic gongs, crystal harp, enormous chimes & more... This time of the year, being a turning point, is a good time for a fresh start, to go deep within, reflect, discover what is no longer needed, and release things that no longer serve you. Whether that be emotional baggage, negative thought patterns, something physical, or objects. Dark is the night as I reach this turning point. As the wheel turns, I see birth, death & rebirth. And I know that every end, is a new beginning On the longest darkest night of the year, the sun is reborn. The Winter Solstice is also a good time for a cleanse, so we follow this luminous session with supper/lunch of homemade Healing Ayurvedic Winter Kitchari Style Soup, served with our delicious home baked anti-inflammatory Detox Bread with real butter, followed by Warm Fruit Salad with Maple Syrup and fresh cream or coconut cream and then one of our Cleansing Teas are recommended, or if desired, a Beverage from the Cafe Menu. The cost is $60pp. Valinor Sound Sanctuary is located at Invergowrie, 15kms west of Armidale NSW.
