21.01.2022 Helping future generations in dairy goat farming

17.01.2022 We have a passion for beautiful soap & our beautiful goats... Actually, it's more like an obsession, for creating natural soaps and skincare products using 'Far...m Fresh Goats Milk' from our very own well loved dairy goats. The health benefits we have experienced personally by bringing fresh Goats Milk into our lives has been life changing, both internally and externally and was the reason we started our journey creating Purely Goats Milk. We hope you love our fresh creamy goats milk soaps as much as we do! See more

16.01.2022 some of our girls last night just doing what they do best

13.01.2022 Someone asked me did I pick the best goats for my previous post, well the answer is NO and so here are a few pics from tonights milking to show that our whole herd are milking like trains at 400+ days into their lactation. An old farmer friend told me many years ago, if they wont dry up then don't stuff them up by trying to, hhmmm makes a lot of sense to me.

05.01.2022 Dairy goat farming is NOT for the feint hearted that’s for sure! Maybe we make it look too easy?? I'm not sure but when you love what you do you find new ways ...to keep learning as much as you can. Earlier this year I did a course to learn how to keep check on a very important issue with goats - intestinal worms (not the little fat caterpillar kind) Trev's favourite saying to anyone new into goats is 'There's only one thing in the world that kills goats faster & that's a bullet!'...sadly this is true. So to keep our herd healthy, regular fecal counts (that's a flash harry word for poop) need to be done - this is the easiest way to check if our goats have intestinal worm problems and to see if our herd need drenching or changing their diet to help them as best we can. This means looking at poo samples (can you believe they even have a smiling emoji of poo )...so anyway this needs to be done often! & there’s never short supply of it We love our little poo factories Is there a 'shitty' job around the home that you have to do? Let me know so we can compare notes Oh & if you want some really great cleaning gear to get yourself clean afterwards head over to our website & grab yourself some soaps - don’t be fussy, it’s all good! www.purelygoatsmilk.com.au
