25.01.2022 It was madcap, crazily funny and incredibly moving and now it’s all over. Thank you to our massive audiences who appeared to enjoy the ride immensely despite the ravages of weather! We had a ball entertaining you all. And a big thanks to the entire cast and crew - far too many to mention but one must give a personal congratulations to our own Cath Patterson. An amazing achievement!... Bravo!!!!

15.01.2022 You may be forgiven for thinking Valley Artists has been a little quiet over the summer! Yes we have been a tad preoccupied with events in our valley over the summer however that hasn’t stopped the creative juices flowing! We are thrilled to be starting work on our next production, Pack Of Lies by Hugh Whitemore. Based on actual events surrounding the infamous Portland Spy Ring in London in the early sixties, this production of intrigue and espionage questions truth, friend...ship and betrayal. You will be asking yourself how well do you know your neighbours! Directed by the very talented Annette Rowlison, whom you may have been lucky enough to see as Nurse Ratched in November, this production opens on Friday 1st May and tickets are now on sale! Follow the link below to check out performance dates and times! You don’t want to miss out. http://valleyartists.org/shop/pack-of-lies/
11.01.2022 In light of the current circumstances surrounding Coronavirus, Valley Artists have made the decision to postpone our upcoming production of Pack of Lies until further notice. Ensuring the safety of our audiences, members and the community we live in is our greatest priority. Any ticket purchased will be refunded and we will advise as soon as we confirm new dates.... In the interim we hope all stay well and we look forward to continuing our 22 year tradition of community theatre as soon as possible.
11.01.2022 Due to the ongoing uncertainty of Covid 19 and after much deliberation, Valley Artists has made the decision to cancel our program for 2020. It was not an easy decision to make as we have a proud 23 year history of never having cancelled a production. However we felt that it would be in the best interests of our members, sponsors and our community as a whole. Never fear however, we will be back in 2021 bigger and stronger than ever - and very keen to perform at our best. Watch this space and we will see you soon!

05.01.2022 As your favourite thespians get down to work on our next production, the spy thriller Pack of Lies, we thought we might share some of its secrets! Pack of Lies, a 1983 play by Hugh Whitemore, is based on the true events of the most significant spy ring to operate in London during the Cold War, The Portland Spy Ring. Bob and Barbara Jackson and their daughter Julie live in a quiet run of the mill London suburb in the early 1960s. The neighbours across the road, Helen and Pet...er Kroger from Canada, are their best friends. When MI5 pay a visit to the Jacksons asking questions about their neighbours, the Jackson family’s life is turned upside down. Friendship, loyalty and the possibility of betrayal all come into question. How well do the Jacksons really know their best friends? Can they really be living as undercover Russian spies??? Season runs from 1st to 9th May and tix are now on sale! To avoid being left out in the cold get your tickets now! http://valleyartists.org/shop/pack-of-lies/
05.01.2022 Wow what an opening weekend! Full houses, excellent performances, huge applauses and superlative reviews. Our cast and crew have had a couple of days down time to reenergise and prepare to give it their all over the next four nights! If you are lucky enough to have snaffled tickets then we recommend you get to the theatre early for a pre show surprise! Also we do have a list of people who have heard the buzz and would love to score a seat so if for some reason you don’t think you can make it then let us know so we can spread the joy!

04.01.2022 It is with great sadness that Valley Artists farewells one of our most ardent fans, patron, sponsor and dear friend. John Forsyth has been an integral part of not only our theatre company but to our community at large in so many ways. There are few words to describe his generosity, positivity and zest for life. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Vale John Forsyth
