21.01.2022 It’s always a huge game against the students, and with 2nd vs 3rd, nothing is different heading into the 2nd last red ball match before Xmas. Congratulations to Hugh Weibgen on making his first grade debut receiving cap 733. Get down to the grounds to watch all the action unfold. #govalleys

19.01.2022 What greeted our groundsman as he peeled back the covers this morning, some imbecile had come down during the night and scattered ice under the covers right on the popping crease. Some people need to get a life.

18.01.2022 Not the results we were looking for going down in both the 1st and 2nd Grade QFs of the One Day Comp. Ladies had a mixed bag in their T20 double header securing a tie against Uni of Queensland, but a loss to Western Suburbs. #govalleys

18.01.2022 Our Diehard men return to T20’s on Sunday and 1’s are on a mission to go back to back. Even better that we are boosted by the return of some of Big Bash stars. Our Diehard women take on the Gold Coast Dolphins at home in their last 50 over match before returning to T20’s next week. Get down to the grounds and watch all the action unfold. #govalleys

08.01.2022 A note received from the Sherman family following our recent Remembering Shermo day. To Valley club members, Sophie, Isabelle and I (+ Peter’s wider family) would like to send our sincerest thank you for the warm welcome we all received at the club at Remembering Shermo.... Lifetime membership was an honour for Pete and we are thankful that he was with us to receive it. To the family, it was acknowledgement that he truly had a home at his beloved Valley’s. To all those who shared memories and moments of Pete with us, it meant the world to us we are thankful that he lives on in so many hearts and we believe that is what made Pete so special. We would like to share a message we received from someone who knew Pete‘s passion was cricket: We lost a good one out for 54 given LBW playing across the straight one. Raise your bat Pete one last time and acknowledge the applause for an innings well played. We will all miss you." Thank you Valley’s, warmest regards, Amanda, Sophie and Isabelle xxxx

07.01.2022 We are mid round in the 2 day format on Saturday, and all grades are looking But this weekend it’s all happening on Sunday for the Diehards Our ladies head to the Sunshine Coast to play back to back T20’s against Wynnum and Sunny Coast. Our Under 19’s have their first game for the season against Uni at Uni.... And Tavs coming off a bye are fresh and ready to go against Darling Downs and SW QLD. Get down to the grounds to see all the action unfold. #govalleys

07.01.2022 A kind gesture from both Valleys and @westsdcc 1st grade teams to recognise the great mans work. All class from @westsdcc #govalleys #bleedblue #pattys400

04.01.2022 Great, but windy start to all grade season commencement. First grade left it till late in the day to take 4 wickets for 10 runs to wrap up Day One with Souths Cricket Club at 6-261. Another record breaking 2nd wicket partnership in second grade by Captain Josh Neill (112) and Michael Toolis (130) and Jacques Badenhorst just missing out on a century but pushing 3rd grade to 4-318 at stumps. Both Subdistricts teams taking home wins in their one day games. #govalleys

04.01.2022 After being 4 down and still in single figures, great effort by first grade to hold onto a draw in the match against Souths Cricket Club. Centuries from Josh Neill and Michael Toolis in 2nd grade just wasn't enough,as SBDCC Souths Cricket Club took the match by 24 runs. Ladies won both of their games in the T20 Double Header, with Charli Knott and Mikayla Hinkley shining with the bat. Tav's had a win over Darling Downs & SW Qld, but unfortunately our U19 side went down to Uni.

03.01.2022 Well batted Beathy, ton up before lunch

03.01.2022 With 4 rounds of senior men’s, and 6 rounds of senior women’s cricket remaining, here are our top performers. Who do think can sneak their way into the top 5? #Govalleys
