01.01.2022 PREGNANCY & INFANT LOSS AWARENESS MONTH 'Bearing the Unbearable' Campaign: Honouring the emotional experience and impact of parents bereaved from perinatal loss.... * Bearing the Unbearable: Pregnancy Following Loss is usually a time of heightened anxiety about another loss. Many women engage in 'emotional cushioning' in an attempt to soften the pain of another loss should it occur. It's very understandable, but if long-lasting through the pregnancy this defence can get in the way of developing a strong bond with baby. * Our campaign was illustrated by the supremely talented Jess Racklyeft of Jesses Mess - Illustrations and developed by Bronwyn Leigh, Charise Deveney, Julie King and Carla Anderson for the Centre for Perinatal Psychology * For more information or to connect with one of our psychologists around Australia, head to our website: https://www.centreforperinatalpsychology.com.au//perinata/ See more
