12.01.2022 Evening Ladies, Hope you are all keeping safe & well? We have recieved quite few enquiries as of late as to if our Annual Ladies Day will be going ahead this year! Well our Ladies Day Committee is not giving up hope & we will be trying our best to make it happen. There may be a few changes this year to how things will be run thanks Rona, however an awesome day out with the girls wont change! 12.01.2022 One of the traditional drinks of the Kentucky Derby is the Kentucky Mule. The Kentucky Mule is an amazing concoction made with Whiskey, Ginger beer & freshly squeezed lime juice. Its served in a glass full of ice topped with mint leaves. Thanks to Valleys Senior Rugby League Gladstone each lady will receive a complimentary Kentucky Mule during the event

09.01.2022 LADIES DAY 2020! Did you ever think we would be allowed to say that COVID has ruined a lot of things this year, but it will not ruin ladies day 2020! ... However, due to our little mate COVID things have to be a little different this year... boo One being the amount of lovely ladies we are allowed to have at our beloved clubhouse... which means only a LIMITED amount of tickets will be available to purchase Ticket sales happening on Saturday 3rd October 2020 between 10.30am & 11.30am at the VJRL Clubhouse on Aerodrome Road

07.01.2022 GOOD MOOOOOORNING Gates open at 3pm - please ensure you have your ticket to present at the gate. Multi draw raffles!... 1 sheet for $30 or 2 sheets for $50 - your tickets will go into the marble tins in front of the raffle prizes - please ensure you keep the bottom of the sheet - this has your number on it! If you don’t have it, you won’t know if you’ve won or not Food drops are at 4.30pm, 5.30pm & 6.30pm - these will be dropped at your assigned table! Make sure you’re there at the designated times to eat, otherwise your table mates have free reign on your food Your complimentary drink tickets will be given to you at the gate There will be other prize draws and things happening, so keep an ear out to our MC Simon Couple of rules; 1. Don’t drink & drive - please have a plan in place if you are drinking 2. If you’re gunna have a vom, please do so in the bathrooms or outside (just not on the fields - for obvious reasons ) 3. There will be music playing, but no dancing. 4. Please respect the clubhouse - don’t trash the toilets, we all know how to flush, we all know how to get toilet paper into the toilet bowl, we all know how to change a toilet roll - don’t be gross 5. The event will run slightly different this year to previous years to keep within the Covid 19 requirements but all information regarding this will be passed on in the up coming weeks. ... Keep an eye on the page for our ticket sale day & this years theme. There is however a little hint of the theme somewhere on our page lets see if you can guess what it is.
