With this year having a special meaning to the occasion the ten year reunion of the Brett Graham scholarship. Four trained Ledbury chefs battled it out for the 2019 title. The event was a raging success, raising over $40 thousands dollars for scholarships in the industry for our up and coming apprentices. ... 19.01.2022 Lachlan began working as an apprentice chef in various Southern Highlands venues including Biota dining and Eschalot restaurant. It was here that Lachlan first discovered his love for growing , preserving and fermenting fruit vegetables and working with wild herbs and foraged products. This love drew him to Byron bay to work alongside Darren Roberson at the Three Blue Ducks. Lachlan then decided to move to Melbourne doing stints with some Australia’s finest at vue de monde... and Saint Crispin with Scott Pickett who Lachlan says is his biggest inspiration to date. ’ At the end of 2017 Lachlan opened his first venue in moss vale in the southern Highlands with the help of two great friends Glen and Renee Wallace , (Birch Restaurant). Houghton has recently decided to moved back to Byron bay, to head up Bounty in Brunswick. Lachie is taking care of dessert! I know figs are involved!

02.01.2022 Hey everyone! Two days away from the final event! Here’s some more information for Saturday. Bus will depart from: Moss vale Clock ( the Main Street) at 4.30pm arrive down at the Friendly Inn just before 5pm. The event kicks of at 5pm with canapés in the courtyard and live entertainment. ... At 6.30pm we will move inside the marquee and be seated for dinner. You will get a chance to meet and greet the chefs behind the menu before enjoying the five courses prepared for you. An email has been sent out regarding dietaries please read carefully and respond as soon as possible so we can cater for all your requirements. The bus will be picking those up who have purchased that ticket after the final act at 11pm at night. Return to Moss vale by no later then 11.30pm.
