13.01.2022 Hey everyone, Tonight will be our last meeting for Term One. Despite the uncertainty of the last couple of weeks, I've been really encouraged by this term! From seeing many new faces to seeing our regulars grow in their faith and knowledge of Jesus, it's been a pleasure to be a part of. I pray that our youth have also enjoyed and valued being a part of it as well. Tonight's online youth group meeting will begin at 7pm, and we will plan to finish up around 8:30 or thereabouts.... 09.01.2022 Hey everyone, Due to new guidelines for house meetings announced today, we will not be going ahead with our plans to meet in houses for youth group. This means that the previously stated plans to meet at my house for tonight's meeting will not be going ahead. This is a real shame and I understand this may be really disappointing to hear for the youth, but this is the world we're living in at the moment, and several adjustments have to be made!... Our plan is to run youth group via online meetings using Google Zoom. I'm hoping to have a short online meeting tonight to touch base, to introduce everyone to how Google Zoom works, to read through a passage together and pray. I'll be in touch about this ASAP! Thanks so much for bearing with us through all of this uncertainty. What a joy and comfort it is to know that even now, God is totally in control and working for the good of his people (Romans 8:28)!

04.01.2022 Hey everyone! As you've probably heard by now, we no longer have access to the gym at Plenty Valley Christian College. This means Valley Youth will need to relocate! We are planning to go ahead with meeting together as a youth group, and would love to have everyone come along as usual - as long as they aren't sick!... Here are the details for this Friday: Location: My house - 1 Charolais Square, Doreen. We live on a corner block and there is plenty of room to park along the main road next to us (Overland Drive). Time: 7 - 8:30 PM. We will be formally wrapping up at 8:30 this Friday, due to the reduced time spent playing games. If this time doesn't work well for pickup, please let me know. We will be enforcing hand washing on entry, and any food provided will be individually served (e.g. individual chip packets) rather than larger packets that everyone will be eating from. We will also be reducing the time we spend playing games, and will not be playing games involving contact or close proximity - this is a shame, as games are always a highlight, but this is necessary. Information regarding venues for future weeks will be communicated as they are finalised. Lastly, please feel free to let me know if you have any questions, concerns or thoughts. Thank you very much! 03.01.2022 Hey everyone, We're taking a break from our regular program, but we're still keen to stay connected as a youth group - so, over the next few Fridays, we're going to keep meeting at 7pm over Zoom! These will be shorter, low-key sessions with no games or bible study, focusing instead on just checking in with each other, having some discussions and praying together.
