07.01.2022 Very good video about different knives and a must watch for anyone interested in purchasing a new knife. I will say though that the bolster also acts to give the blade in that area extra strength and durability for very hard to cut items like bones etc

04.01.2022 Postal Service Instructions 1. Wrap each blade in tea towels or layers of newspaper so that if your package is dropped the blades will not protrude from the package. Wrap thick cardboard around knife tips to ensure that the contents do not pierce the outer packaging. Tape firmly. Put your knives in a strong small cardboard box and package securely with cushioning material such as bubble wrap, crumpled newspaper etc, making sure to pack any space tightly so the knives dont m...ove inside the package during transit. 2. Please send your kitchen knives by Registered Post or courier and insure your package. I am unable to contact the post office or courier on your behalf for items in transit. 3. Contact me via message or email to let me know you are sending your knives. Include your tracking number so that i can track the progress of your package.Please also Include your name, email address, phone number and return address. I will in turn contact you with payment instructions. 4. Once i receive package, and confirm payment i will contact you. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

I have seen so many chefs cut themselves quite badly because a dull knife edge did not cut the food, instead it slipped and they cut themselves.
