23.01.2022 What a day...a Classical class on stage, followed by an adjudicated Contemporary class on stage, followed by performances of the Contemporary Variations and ending with a rehearsal of Laura's Classical Solo which will be performed on Friday 4 Aug in front of the jury. Meanwhile Belgian family members arrive to see Laura dance for the first time at this level. A packed but very rewarding day! @laura_vanloon

15.01.2022 Busy times for many of our soloists who are competing in this years Eisteddfod season! Last Sunday Stella Mackenzie and Rachel Ainsworth participated in the Classical Ballet Scholarships at Northern Beaches Eisteddfod. They did @vanloondance very proud amongst many strong competitors. Long but rewarding days!

13.01.2022 Early this morning, Friday 4 Aug it promised to be a very busy for all 36 Junior candidates. A day filled with anticipation...who will proceed to the Final? Whatever the outcome it has been an amazing journey!

07.01.2022 A very rewarding Finale for @laura_vanloon at the Cecchetti International Classical Ballet Competition 2017 in Florence Italy . She was awarded: 1) The Enrico Cecchetti JUNIOR CONTEMPORARY AWARD, 2) a One Year Full Scholarship to the Ballet Academy of Performing Arts in Munich Germany, 3) Scholarship to the Youth American Grand Prix Sydney/New York, 4) Another 3 Scholarships allowing Laura to spend a week at each of the following full time schools: Basel Ballet School, Swit...zerland | English National Ballet School, UK | Ballet Academy Staatsoper Vienna, Austria. We have loved seeing Laura perform on an international stage in front of an illustrious jury and Prima Ballerina Carla Fracci who were very complimentary on Laura's versatility, ability and stage presence. We could not agree more with them that she was somewhat 'special'! Thanks Laura for an amazing week. A huge credit to you for stamina, strength and discipline which is second none.
