22.01.2022 Almost time for Round 4 of the National Road Series on Zwift Australia | New Zealand. With two in the top 10 in round three, we are starting to get in the swing of things. We are currently leading Team Class* and will be looking to drive that all the way to the finish, with times taken on the top four riders. 19.01.2022 Almost playtime! Our ten rider line up for the opening round has been charging the Zwift kilometres over the past week to try and get all the upgrades imaginable. Watch for Dan Siwek putting his W/Kg to work on the climb every lap, and Matt Hutchinson to drop more Watts down than anyone else can fathom. Also making a return to the team is Liam Lawlor and Matt de Vroet. The men's race can be caught on the NRS Facebook page tomorrow for 9:30 - following the women's racing at 8...:30. 18.01.2022 The Warnie is always a highlight of the year, a true bucket list item for every bike racer in the country. Its old, its long (267km), it's normally windy and its hard. Maybe not Grafton hard, but its a race where you have to be mentally switched on, and fight for position from kilometre one until your race is over. 17.01.2022 We'll be back racing on the roads of South Australia in June, but for now, we are onto Round Three of the National Road Series on Zwift Australia | New Zealand. Today's race is four laps of the "Jungle Circuit" for a total distance of 37.4km, and 343 m of elevation. The roads might be dirt, but this is no "Strada Nero". Look for a late sprint with a well timed power up for the win. We're sitting in fourth in the overall teams class, but with a strong fourth man, we could be u...p into second. 16.01.2022 We're back at it tomorrow for Round 2 of the National Road Series on Zwift. Will Golding used a well-timed sprint and power up to roll 5th in Round 1, but a hard 3-minute climb should see either Rylan, Lachie or Dan rise to the top of the pack. Although team manager Lachie is working hard to be in contention for selection after recently, and very accidentally, being promoted to A Grade on Zwift, we see Jason step off the tools and back onto the bike. Meanwhile, Matt de Vroet... has clocked off to go and do a virtual triathlon, which doesn't have a swim or a run (which sounds like a good Triathalon to us!). 16.01.2022 We haven't had an Elite National Road event in South Australia since 2015. As such, we are very excited to have both our mens and womens (Butterfields Racing) teams taking to the streets of Adelaide this Saturday. It's prime time racing, in the heart of the city. 15.01.2022 More Zwift action from the team today in Round 5 of the National Road Series on Zwift. This round is likely to be the series decider as it's an individual TT. There will be no freewheeling today, at just 8km with 230m of vert. A flat start and a wall at the finish riders will need to be careful they don't gas themselves early. Rylan is just outside the top 10, and the team is almost ontop of the teams classification so we'll need four riders laying maximum watts to keep us i...n the hunt.
