01.01.2022 Two Awards for Roar Film last week - one MAGNA Award from Museums Australia for our Serious Game - THE VOYAGE. Best Interpretation, Learning and Audience Engagement. Judges comments: "Highly innovative education program for all utilising gamification technology. A very big and complex project which has yielded an engaging strategy game allowing students to experience the issues and complexity of planning to ship convicts to Australia. The range of partners that were involved... in the project was impressive." Also won a Launceston Council Heritage Promotion Award for the work we (and others) did on the Duck Reach Power Station Interpretation. "The Duck Reach Historical Group for the Duck Reach Interpretation Centre & Museum's promotion of Launceston's significant history in the production of hydro-electricity and the unique infrastructure that remains as part of the Cataract Gorge Reserve."
