20.01.2022 Its been a while with a lot of changes developments during the time away but Vanderfield Darwin is once again live on Facebook!! After shaking hands and separating from Isuzu, Hino and moving to our new premises at 22 McKenzie Place Yarrawonga, life is finally starting to return to a regular pace after the excitement of a (hardly) wet season. A few highlights of the last few months include, partnering with RDO to bring John Deere construction into the branch, bringing on more... staff and trainees to continue and improve our three divisions of service, sales and parts, being involved around the territory with various events such as the Freds pass show, Katherine and Douglas Daly research days and being involved in the exciting development of a possible new cotton industry. There has been a lot of new achievements, problems overcome, and exciting possibilitys in the last few months and we look forward to keeping you informed on here to the many more to come! See more

08.01.2022 With the humidity rising and a bit of increased activity about the office we blinked and realised that spring was here and another month of our prolonged dry season had slipped by. So we thought we would give an update on what has been going on around the traps here at the Vanderfield hive!! Its been a busy couple of months here in the territory with multiple events happening such as the Planter expo down in Bundaberg showing planting innovations and options available through... the branches, multiple community events such as sponsoring the Douglas Daly charity cricket game, polo cross, and also gearing up to get involved with the Katherine Barra bash. Taking full advantage of the slow growing conditions, staff have been using the time to get more hands on training with the new products being offered as well as stocking up in the parts department for the explosion of growth that comes with the first rains. I could go on, but long story short, its been a great dry season which we hope everyone has used to the fullest and we are now getting ready for the rain and abundance of life/growth which we are famous for up here!!! We look forward to the flurry of action to come and hope we can help in the wet/hot months ahead. See more

04.01.2022 With another month slipping by in the blink of an eye, I thought we were well due an update about what we have been doing in thew last month. With July typically being the middle of the dry season up in the Territory, we have had plenty on our hands at home in Darwin as well as in the rural areas of the state. With Kununurra, and Katherine both having their show days this month we were about to catch up with customers at both to have a yarn and generally see what new develop...ments were the topic of discussion. It is always a great opportunity at these shows to talk to new and old faces alike as well getting to meet the family that isnt always present on the farm. Special mention has to go out the the Innes family who were kind enough to lend us a newly acquired 8245R and Monosem planter for display purposes as well as Lon Croot for the use of his new 6140M. Was a great turn out at both shows. As well as the rural shows I was also lucky enough to be invited, along with a couple of keen Territory farmers to the first John Deere Crop Care Expo down in Bundaberg last week but I will go in to further detail about that later in the week!
