23.01.2022 VANDERFIELD SPOTLIGHT The face behind the repair - DANIAL STEWART Dan came to us many years ago as a fresh School based apprentice back in 2012, and is now 2 years into his qualification as an AG TECHNICIAN. ... Dan is currently working on a customers 6110M, rebuilding the transmission. You will quite often see Dan driving in his Vanderfield Service Ute, heading out of town to help a customer repair their machine, right there in the middle of the field on their farm. Dan says, he loves that part of his job - seeing all of the different countryside, travelling around the shire and nearby towns to help farmers fix their machines. He loves meeting the farmers and watching them jump back in their machine, ready to go again! Dan enjoys working on Cotton Pickers and Headers over tractors, but will always put his heart and skills into any repair he is faced with. Dan's passion for farm machinery began after growing up on his familys farm - growing various crops and cattle. In just under 2 weeks, Dan will be marrying his beautiful fiance', Sophie, alongside their 3 children, Anastasia and twins Harvey and Claude. 02.01.2022 VANDERFIELD SPOTLIGHT The face behind the repairs - JACK SAVIDGE! Jack is one of our ALMOST QUALIFIED apprentice Ag Technicians! He is currently working on repairing an engine leak and drive lines on an 8370R for one of our dear customers. ... Jack comes from a farming family and enjoys the challenges that working on Large Agricultural Machinery brings him here at Vanderfield St George. Jack says he really enjoys working on Cotton Pickers when they come in for their Pre-Deliveries and Services. He also really enjoys the experiences he has had with other non-green machinery also, such as CAT machines, Manitou machines & Trucks that occasionally come in. Jack is looking forward to completing his apprenticeship here at Vanderfield St George and is excited about his opportunities for the future, as to where his skills could take him around the countryside. When not working hard in the workshop, Jack likes to go hunting, fishing and enjoys working on his car! Thank you, Jack! You are a legend.
