25.01.2022 It’s hard to beat a winter adventure in the van. The nights get cooler, the skies get clearer, the wind goes offshore, the whales start to migrate and the tailor start to run. 17.01.2022 Built by VANDERLUST Meet the Bartrim’s, @tonybartrim @lisabartrim and @cameron__bartrim they came to us a little over 8 weeks ago with the task of building their dream campervan. This was a full build we were given a blank canvas to work with, a brand new empty 2020 Renault Master from @cricks_tweed @renaultau ... Workscope was to build - Rooftop platform and fixed ladder aka the bevy balcony - A lightweight waterproof removable draw system - It was integral part of the build to ensure maximum storage and maxis the floor space while looking aesthetically pleasing and timeless. - Vj walls and ceilings - Ability to cook inside - Slide out bbq Weber - Custom made slide out gas hot water shower system - A double bed and possibility of a single bed - Internal surfboard storage up 9’6 longboards - Needed to compliment there beach lifestyle and they gave us for full flexibility with design and style and entrusted us to do what we love. - A solar system capable of handling everything thrown at it. This was a complete build from start to finish was completed by us in 7 weeks total. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and to have the honorary Bartrim’s join the Vanderlust family. The real journey starts now for you guys as you have access to go and explore in style and comfort as much as you like. 14.01.2022 Here’s another one to add to your bucket list of places to go. Red cliff campgrounds are in the Angourie precinct of Yuraygir National Park. This place is pretty special it’s relatively close yet, you almost feel as if you’re on the other side of Australia.... Here’s what you can expect as the seasons change. Autumn Autumn is the perfect time of year to go beach fishing along the park's coastline. Spring The park's heathlands provide a spectacular display of wildflowers. Check them out on your choice of walking track, including the Wilsons Headland walk and, of course, the Yuraygir coastal walk. Summer Visit in summer to make the most of the park's countless beaches and waterways. Swim, surf or snorkel cooling sea breezes provide welcome relief in hot weather. Winter Plan a winter trip to go whale watching. The sight of migrating whales swimming north to warmer waters is second-to-none, and there are magnificent viewing points at Red Cliffs lookout and Brooms Head. While the forecast for international travel is gloomy this place is a must for your bucket list #seeaustralia. Why Warrumbungle ? Because it’s Australia’s only Dark Sky Park, Warrumbungle is world-renowned for its incredible starry skies with observatories dotting the mountains around the national park. ... Our very first night in the park we were treated to a cosmic display that will forever be in my mind, the Milky Way burning brightly over our van, stars visible to the naked eye. We scored a great spot for the night at Wambelong Campground, within the national park. Our time in Warrumbungle National Park was spent being surrounded by native Australiana, staying up late to see the stars, hiking the trails and being educated on the cosmos at the Siding Spring Observatory. 10.01.2022 Life’s really simple, yet we insist on making it complicated. All we are trying to do here is uncomplicate it. Grab your partner/ friends, a van and go make memories. It’s literally that simple. Honestly if there was someone that provided a service like we do, before we started then there’s no way I’d ever buy a campervan.... Here’s a few things to remember when deciding to build/ buy or instead just rent one of our vans. Here’s some of the things you don’t have worry about when renting. -You don’t need to buy a van -You don’t have to pay registration -You don’t have to pay insurance -You don’t have to pay for tyres -You don’t have to pay for servicing -You don’t have to worry about depreciating vehicles -You don’t have to provide clean linen -You don’t have to pay for the fit out -You don’t have to loose countless hours building and designing it. -You don’t have to store the van. -You don’t have to wash the van. Heck you don’t really need to do anything, just block out your dates, bring an adventurous attitude and we will sort the rest.
