20.01.2022 We made it - the end of 2020. I'm not speaking out of school to say that 2020 has been a tough year and many of us are looking forward to the end of the year, it has also been a year of learning. Many of us have had to do things that we've never done before; whether it was staying home, being with our families, learning more about our health, or that we took the chance to do something new. We've been blown away by how many people have reached out to reshape their business or ...even explore starting a new business - and know that will only continue into 2021. As we wind down into Christmas, we encourage everyone to take some time to rest, refuel and do things that bring joy and energise you to get ready for everything that 2021 will throw at us. We're taking some time off as well, and will close our office from the 23rd of December and will be back ready to help from the 11th of January 2021 - and already have a few bookings in our calendar. If you want to start the year with support from our team, please just get in touch and let's lock something in - and we've got some great events coming up in January and February to block into the calendar too. Thanks again for your support, and we cannot wait to help you start, scale and sustain in 2021! Kind regards, Adam Mostogl Director & Entrepreneurship Facilitator, The Van Diemen Project

09.01.2022 We often think of successful entrepreneurs as being young. After all, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerberg were all in their 20s when they founded Microsoft, Apple, and Facebook. So how old are you? Too old, possibly to quit your job and start your own business? Well believe it or not, an extensive research published by the Harvard Business Review found that successful entrepreneurs tend to be middle-aged, not young. And we are here to tell you that you are never too old to start your own business and be your own boss. In fact, we provide advice, support, and mentoring for current and future Tasmanian business owners. For more information, contact us.

For half of that time, she has been working for us AND mentoring other uni students. Well done Michelle, we are proud of you.
