25.01.2022 Pooped over to palm beach gallery today and created a fabulous Mother’s Day window! Come and say hi. Gallery open on Saturday 10-2.00 and I will be on duty from 11.30-2.30 on Sunday.

25.01.2022 While a passenger in the car why not use the opportunity to do quick lines and mark making as you chill and enjoy the views. Then take back to the studio to create a masterpiece!! Hi from Vanessa and Dave!!!

23.01.2022 Come for a walk with me!! Fabulous art and new hang in balmain!

22.01.2022 Pop in some lights, keep it loose and varied and then spray to fix it with hairspray!!

22.01.2022 A bit of drawing with indigo ink and wash as I wait for David.

15.01.2022 As Victoria goes into lockdown and people are maybe anxious and stressed, lonely or despondent, I am thinking a zoom catch up. No agenda, coffee, art, everyday shit, what you are doing, what I am doing. Once a week. In my studio, patonga, at the gallery, driving. A friendship get together. All aboard whoever needs a bit of group therapy time with likeminded crazy artistic cats. Let me know if interested.

14.01.2022 This is one of a series of graffiti paintings based on the BLM and my response. Once dry the painting will go to POtts Point galleries in Macleay Street.

11.01.2022 With a limited palette I attacked two canvases to create one larger work - from the studio.

10.01.2022 With limited opening hours why not join us for a gallery tour from your couch? A bit of culture for Sunday morning!

08.01.2022 After an ordinary day yesterday becoming tight and too twee, I took myself in hand and followed my own rules! Fingers crossed I get good outcomes!!

05.01.2022 The idea of an artists studio is very romantic. This is a reality shot of lots of mess, dirty brushes and hard concrete floor! Note to self- tidy it up!!!!

04.01.2022 What a great opportunity for artists to contribute to the much needed fundraising for ovarian cancer research. More details to come, but meanwhile, find a box, dismantle it, paint it and let’s raise MONEY!!! You will be promoted on the ANZGOG website and there will be lots of opportunity to showcase your art. DM me for full details on sizes and contact details. The more the better. Let’s get all our artist friends involved!!

01.01.2022 A credit card is a great starting point to begin your painting to block in shapes and perspectives. This painting is a dismal failure and I think it’s the size which inhibits the grandiose relaxed energy you need when painting- the bigger the better. Credit cards are great fir straight lines without the laboured and dodgy hand painted line. Have a go with your old credit card. Would love to see your results!
