21.01.2022 Since COVID joined our lives many things have changed including the funeral industry. So what are we doing to keep everyone safe? Of course we are all following the rules of NSW health. All cemeteries have Covid plans in place. Restrictions include 100 mourners per service, but keep in mind that some chapels dont hold that amount of mourners based on the 4sqm rule, the over flow of mourners are asked to stand outside socially distancing themselves (tv screens and audio is ...available). Most cemeteries have introduced Live Streaming so that you can view the service from home. Funeral Directors and Cemetery staff are some of the most amazing people you will ever meet, they offer hand sanitizer, are very compassionate and are constantly ensuring everyones safety. I have also decided to wear a mask (prior to and after the service) but remove my mask when officiating the service to allow those that are hearing impaired to lip read. See more

20.01.2022 On the 21st is March 2020 I officiated this beautiful couples wedding (Chris and Nicci). COVID-19 had just raised its scary head and we questioned if their wedding could go ahead. A maximum of 100 people, all of the chairs 1.5mtrs apart, with the reception moved to outdoors. Boarders started closing and many of their overseas family where not able to attend. This couple fought so hard and their wedding went ahead, although looking back they where one of the lucky couples befo...re harsher lockdown began. They got to dance, share a cake and play common games with the kids. Only a few days later weddings went down, to 5 people only. Congratulations Chris and Nicci.... you did it. And if one Covid-19 milestone wasnt enough, Nicci gave birth to a healthy baby boy just a few weeks later during full COVID lockdown. 20.01.2022 Saturday the 8th of February 2020, started with a Naming Day for little Scarlett, followed by a Surprise Wedding for the guests of Scarletts Mum and Dad, Corrie and Kirsty Butler. The anticipation and excitement once their guest realized they were getting married was amazing. Congratulations guys, what an awesome way to get married.

03.01.2022 As restrictions ease, families are now able to have Memorial Services for those who were unable to have Funeral Services during very strict COVID 19 times. Here is some feedback from a family who I officiated a Memorial Service on the weekend for their Dad. Hi Vanessa... I would just like to thank you on behalf of Mandy , Stephen , Carol and Myself for your part in our Fathers Memorial Service. We had many complimentary comments after the service and one gentlemen, particularly like the story of the Train. Even our Aunty said she learnt something about Dad from his brothers tribute.
