25.01.2022 A good quantification of the benefits of Regenerative Grazing. Improving water infiltration is important. More water in the root zone = more potential plant growth.

25.01.2022 A great opportunity for an up and coming researcher. We are involved in this project and it’s a great one. Feel free to share.

24.01.2022 Looking forward to running this workshop in QLD soon. It will be an opportunity to present some new thoughts and material. Also a good chance to make sure our businesses are regenerative, as well as our production.

22.01.2022 "Regenerative fields had 29% lower grain production but 78% higher profits over traditional corn production systems. Profit was positively correlated with the particulate organic matter of the soil, not yield. These results provide the basis for dialogue on ecologically based farming systems that could be used to simultaneously produce food while conserving our natural resource base: two factors that are pitted against one another in simplified food production systems. 21.01.2022 Grab a cup of tea and watch this video from Allan. Well worth a watch. Thanks to the Mulloon Institute for organising this.

21.01.2022 Australian agriculture is a volatile industry, far greater than many of our international competitors. It makes sense to consider ways to reduce volatility and risk. Regenerative Agriculture provides a different business and risk profile. This helps improve sleepability at night.

21.01.2022 Facilitating "Strategies for 2020" at Boorowa. Covering the three forms of capital: land, finance and people. Ensuring farm family wellbeing is important. Thanks Ted.

20.01.2022 Its been awhile since Ive posted. Weve been busy during COVID getting people onto Zoom and adapting how we do things. Lots of exciting work happening. Here we are calibrating a satellite in the pastoral areas for ground cover and biomass. More to come on this!

20.01.2022 This is a wonderful video from Michael Taylors farm near Kentucky, not far from Armidale NSW. The way his family have integrated trees into their landscape and their long term generational planning is wonderful. Its been an oasis over the last few years. Well worth a watch.

19.01.2022 Capturing and storing carbon through Regen. Ag is an imperative. This is an easy read summary. You can follow the link to the meta study of 150 published reports if you like. Humanity has already exceeded global warming of 1C this century, and will almost assuredly exceed 1.5 C between 2030 and 2052. Even if all nations party to the Paris Agreement ratify their commitments, warming would still reach between 2.6C and 3.1C by 2100

18.01.2022 Grant spoke at the RANT conference in Launceston recently. Is getting great results from his cropping.
