11.01.2022 Easy vanilla cake made with fresh vanilla beans . Vanilla icing 2 cup icing sugar... 15 gram butter, chopped 1 tablespoon hot water 2 natural vanilla beans . Basic vanilla buttercake 125 gram butter, chopped, at room temperature 3/4 cup caster sugar 2 moist natural vanilla beans 2 free range eggs 2 cup self-raising flour, sifted 1/2 full cream cup milk . Basic vanilla buttercake 1 Preheat oven 180C. Lightly grease and line a deep 20cm round cake pan. 2 In a bowl, using an electric mixer, beat butter, sugar and vanilla bean caviar together until pale and creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, scraping down sides of bowl. 3 Lightly fold flour into creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour. 4 Spoon mixture into pan, smoothing top. Bake 40-45 minutes, or until cooked when tested. Cool in pan 5 minutes, before turning onto a wire rack to cool completely. 5 To make icing, sift icing sugar into a bowl. Add butter, water and vanilla pod caviar. Beat well until it reaches a smooth, spreadable consistency. Spread over cooled cake . Notes: Make sure butter is well creamed and pale before adding sugar. This allows for the incorporation of air, which makes a lighter cake. Use unsalted butter at room temperature if preferred. For a richer cake, use 185g unsalted butter, 3 eggs and reduce the milk to 1/4 cup. . #vanillacake #baking #cakesofinstagram #vanillabean #cookingwithlove #naturalfood #delicious #coffeeandcake #yum

10.01.2022 Fresh picked raw vanilla beans ready for curing and drying at our supplier’s vanilla farm in South Java, Indonesia. Vanilla vines grow best in regions of the world close to the equator. Countries such as Indonesia, Madagascar, Sri Lanka, Tahiti and Mexico have the perfect growing climate for pod cultivation. Vanilla bean plants are climbing vines that prefer high humidity, warm temperatures and bright, indirect sunlight. Our pods are dried and cured and packed on site in vacuum sealed bags at the farm in Java and sent to us in Perth ready to use for cooking and making extract. . #vanillaextract #vanillabeans #vanillacupcakes #natural #veganfood #veganrecipes #easyrecipes #bakinglove

05.01.2022 How to make your own pure and natural vanilla essence/exact . It’s easy. Get five or six good size plump gourmet natural vanilla bean pods, slice each one down the sides and drop them into a bottle of vodka. . Make sure you screw the top lid nice and tight and place bottle in a dark, cool spot ...and wait 8 weeks. ... . For more intense flavour, leave your vanilla beans in the liquid alcohol for up to 6 months. . I’ve borrowed a few pics off google search to show you some nice looking bottles to use, but you can just as easily put your beans straight in a bottle of brand name vodka. It doesn’t have to be premium vodka either. The cheap vodka brands work just as good. . Pure and natural homemade vanilla essence is so much better than the artificial/synthetic stuff sold in supermarkets...and tastes 1000 times better in your favourite recipes . #vanillaessence #pure #naturalfoods #vanillaextract #bakelife #bakingfromscratch #cookingathome #easyrecipes #cookies See more
