22.01.2022 Our outdoor oasis! Who else lives outside as much as possible? I wanted our outdoor area to flow from indoors and be a large space for us adults to relax and for the kids to run around on their bikes and scooters etc. Investing in this space was so important for us and I can’t wait to finish our front yard reno and show you all!! It’s the best place to be come sunset!

12.01.2022 Time! There’s sooo little of it lately! I honestly get to the end of each day and feel like I could turn the clock back 8 hours and still fill it in. But today I had time to actually do the things I’ve been wanting to do. One of those things was making a start on my 2 year olds bedroom. Waiting for some pieces to arrive from @rajahomewares for the walls and an @ikea_australia trip is definitely on the cards Saturday morning since the QLD border has opened up for us! You bloody beauty!! I forgot how nice it was to potter around at home getting things done!!

Spent the morning with the gorgeous Bridie from @oakstudiosaus and had so much fun shooting her beautiful pieces and talking each other’s heads off about business, design, family and travel. If you don’t follow her already, head on over to her account. She has got a great eye for design and is a beautiful person inside & out.

08.01.2022 Our front entry lounge arrived today and as usual I had to style it up immediately lol I ordered it in November and have been dying to chill out on it at sunset since then. So this is where you’ll find me for the rest of the summer!

07.01.2022 Front pergola is up! And this week I have breeze blocks going in, front yard pavers being laid and all the render being done. Than, I guess I’ll be painting for the rest of my life!!

07.01.2022 DIY swipe for the before pic! This bathroom cabinet reno was so easy and quick! Grab yourself some @porta_timber and instant glue from @bunnings and voila! (Tip: @bunnings can cut your timber to length in store at no additional cost) We used @kmartaus canister lids for our handles to keep it a low budget project. What DIY are you planning this weekend?

04.01.2022 Happy Friday! I just received the most beautiful surprise delivery this afternoon from the very talented @mowglistudio! These pots are all hand painted to perfection and I’m obsessed with their colour palette. I now what I’m going to be doing over this long weekend!

First up it’s clean the house, wash off the fake tan, clean the sheets, make my 5 year old an Owl birthday cake (send help) keep my 2 year old occupied at all times, food shop, prepare food, get dressed and be ready and welcoming by midday for the birthday party
