20.01.2022 With a heavy heart, I have decided to resign from my children groups and focus on my private practice, further study and my family, beginning next term. Working with children has brought me so much joy over the last decade. I love the diversity of all my babies, kids and their families and I am honoured to have worked with you all. I will continue to run Zoom children sessions for the rest of this term. I will try not to cry!

14.01.2022 Honestly I did no 'work' today. I struggle to see other people on Facebook being amazingly productive and positive. My guilt and self-doubt often turns to stress. With this global pandemic, we face loneliness, uncertainty, anxiety and sadness. Maybe self-compassion is the best thing we can do in order for us and for those around us to continue to function. It's ok to do 'nothing.' Breath. Relax. How do you practice self-care during quarantine?

Gone are the days of the expert model, therapists are now encouraged to consider their own authenticity, to connect with clients through our vulnerability. I’m proud to be an imperfect music therapist and I am real.
