24.01.2022 The third and final delicious Vantage Halloween cocktail is the sublime mix of Vantage, pumpkin spice mix and coffee.... give it a try this Halloween eve! Vantage Pumpkin Spice 60ml Vantage... 60ml heavy cream 30ml @kahlua 30ml espresso (we used @commonfolkcoffee beans) 1 dash pumpkin spice mix For rim coating: 1 Digestive biscuit, crushed into fine crumbs 1/4 tsp pumpkin spice mix* Maple syrup Tumbler glass, edge rimmed with maple syrup then rolled in pumpkin spiced biscuit crumbs. Ice in shaker, add all cocktail ingredients in. Shake vigorously. Ice in glass, strain and pour mix Dust with pumpkin spice mix. Garnish with a cinnamon stick (optional). *we made our own spice mix using 1tsp ground cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg, 1/4 tsp ground ginger and 1/8 tsp ground cloves. 21.01.2022 How’s this for a ‘pearfectly’ delicious sip Vantage Perfect Pear 45ml Vantage20ml freshly squeezed lemon juice20ml Spiced Pear Sugar Syrup*50ml pear juiceSoda water, to top upIceSprig of rosemary or thyme, cinnamon stick or star anise to garnish... *For the Spiced Pear Sugar Syrup:235ml water200g caster sugar1 pear, cored and cut into pieces3 star anise2 cardamom pods Firstly make the Spiced Pear Sugar Syrup. Do this by adding the syrup ingredients to a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and gently stir for about five minutes or until the sugar and pears have dissolved. Then strain the liquid into a jar and allow to cool completely before using. The rest is simple - just measure out your ingredients - all except the soda water - dry shake in a cocktail shaker and then pour over ice in your favourite cocktail glass. Top with soda water, give it a gentle stir and garnish. INGREDIENTS For The Ginger Syrup 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup water 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, cut For The Cocktail 15ml ginger syrup, from above 60ml grapefruit juice 30ml lemon juice 60ml Vantage soda water to top INSTRUCTIONS To make the ginger syrup, combine sugar, water, and ginger in a small saucepan over low heat. Simmer for 10 minutes, then strain out ginger pieces and allow to cool to room temperature. In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine ginger syrup, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, and Vantage. Shake well. Pour soda water into a Vollin’s glass over ice. Pour in cocktail ingredients, stirring gently. Garnish with rosemary. Pretty in Pink Mojito... 2 oz / 60ml -@vantageaustralia 1 oz / 30ml - Lime Juice oz / 22.5ml - Blood Orange Cinnamon Syrup 6 Mint Leaves 2 Anise Myrtle Leaves Top with Soda water. Put all ingredients into a Shaker tin. Give the leaves a light muddle then add some ice. Shake and double strain into a Highball Glass. Garnish with some mint Anise Myrtle leaves.
