They can then explore the names of major bone groups of the body and hide bones to see what lies beneath. 16.01.2022 Collect sunscreen, hide in the shade and avoid the nasty melanomas! Through gamification and repetition, kids are subconsciously taught to protect their skin from the sun. Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, accounting for around 80% of all newly diagnosed cancers in the country. It is also one of the most preventable forms of cancer. Then virtually visit real mines using 360-degree videos to hear from engineers about what they do and to see what these operations look like. It allows the viewer to place down an animated 3D model of our planetary system in-front of them and study information about each planet, their relative size, order and rotation. Viewers are taken on a journey where they first learn about our planet and moon, then how it fits into the larger system around us. 06.01.2022 Practicing mine design in the virtual world provides a fast and fail-friendly environment to learn about the impacts of mine layout. The ViMine VR mine design experience was created for the School of Minerals and Energy Resources Engineering at UNSW to educate and test students by immersing them into a virtual sandbox. Students need to work together to decide on infrastructure placement, road paths, dump sizing, pipe layout, and more, for a given landscape scenario.
