17.01.2022 Forget about the acting, Iron Mike Tyson is back!!! Mike Tyson, the former world heavyweight champion who retired in 2005, will make a comeback at age 54, fighting Roy Jones Jr. on September 12 (September 13 AEST) in Los Angeles. Tyson announced the eight-round exhibition bout against Jones, a 51-year-old fighter who briefly held the heavyweight title and has fought consistently into his 50s. Claiming It’s just going to be amazing... The AFL has been handed a juicy carrot to create a hub in Perth after the Western Australian state government announced that crowds of up to 30,000 will be able to attend games from this Saturday. And in an added incentive, the WA government plans to allow full-capacity crowds from July 18, meaning up to 60,000 fans could attend games at Optus Stadium. The AFL has announced the 2020 Grand Final will be played at the Gabba, meaning the league’s showpiece event will take place outside of Victoria for the first time in 123 years. The match will be played on the night of Saturday, October 24, with the league hopeful around 30,000 supporters will be able to attend this year’s decider.... AFL social policy and inclusion manager Tanya Hosch said "Dreamtime in Darwin" would be a "special moment" and a "true celebration of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and their contribution to Australian Football, and how players past and present have inspired generations of Australians". The show goes on!!! Other than the ANZAC Day match each year, the game between the Tigers and the Bombers draws the biggest crowd each season.
