12.01.2022 Van and Ute Hire were proud to help international participants in The 2017 World Gliding Championship by supplying vehicles to tow the gliders around Benalla airport in January this year. In fact in the 18m class we supplied the tow vehicle to Eric Napoleon’s French team with Pilot Killian Walbrou becoming world championship. Van and Ute Hire also supplied the vehicle to German runner up Mario Kessling and fourth placegetter German Matthias Sturm.... Photos of the Japanese team are enclosed together with the podium photos and Kevin congratulating Mario and Matthias on their return of the vehicles. Congratulations also go to The Gliding Club at Benalla for an International Championship. There were 115 pilots from 28 countries, each pilot came with at least 3 to 4 extra people and of course this does not include the Australian and volunteers.
