25.01.2022 Noorla Yo-Long Blue Light Outdoor Adventure is a Blue Light (SA) Inc facility and is run in conjunction with the South Australia Police. Their main focus is on crime prevention and building a rapport with all youth and vulnerable groups through teaching life skills and adventurous learning, where everyone is challenged, encouraged and supported in a safe environment. This year, thanks to the generous supporters of Variety SA, they were able to build a rock climbing wall, complete with specialised landing mats, to the value of $17,000. The SA Variety Bash entrants were very proud to present this on Day Three of the event!

15.01.2022 Variety SA has overcome many hurdles to see the Variety Bash go ahead in 2020. Many things had to be put on hold, but our passion for raising money for kids in ...need was never one of them. We are proud to announce that the SA Variety Bash 2020 raised an outstanding $1.5 million (net) for SA kids in need! 98 cars and 310 entrants and officials travelled 1,630km over five days from Kangaroo Island to Glenelg. Regional South Australian towns benefited as the group distributed $290,673 in grant funding along the route, as well as injecting thousands of dollars into the local communities through the purchase of fuel, accommodation, meals and supplies. 12.01.2022 Today is the last day of operation for the Variety SA office for 2020. It has been a huge year but Variety SA has remained dedicated to helping kids in need and produced a brilliant result. We granted $2,450,460 through 183 grants which positively impacted the lives of 24,668 kids in South Australia. For everyone who supported Variety SA in 2020 in any way, on behalf of the kids whose lives have been brightened, we say Thank you. 04.01.2022 Variety SA has granted $76,675 to Mt Gambier Health for an upgrade of the Paediatric & Neonatal Unit to support infants and children of the South East region. This grant will allow for improved services & will create a new treatment area to allow for the children’s sleep area to be a space where no procedures are undertaken. The grant was presented by the Variety Bash in Mt Gambier yesterday.
