20.01.2022 Welcome to 2021 - Athlete Development Program students (Years 7 & 10 shown in photo) Last Friday our new Year 7 ADP students were inducted into the ADP program with the handing out of their ADP ASPIRE Sport Training Shirts and Drawstring Bags. Our excited program students listened intently to the ADP journey of our current Year 10 students as they outlined the years ahead and program expectations. ... The students also had the opportunity to analyse the Varsity Viking Record Honor Board to set some personal goals for future Inter-house carnivals (Swim, Cross Country and Track & Field). In addition to the above, all program students started their Strength & Conditioning program this week with S+C guru Rick Martin (Head of Bond University S+ C). This week is test week with all students needing to share their S+C booklets with their parents on a weekly basis. ‘Exciting year ahead!!’ Go the Vikings

19.01.2022 Last night at the Australian Olympic swimming trials, past Varsity College student, Kiah Melverton, finished 2nd and has now secured her spot on the Australian Olympic Team for Tokyo (to compete in the inaugural female 1500m freestyle). This is an amazing achievement by a fine young lady who attended Varsity College and was taught and influenced by many staff. Well done Kiah and well done Varsity College.

06.01.2022 In addition to Kiah Melverton making the Australian Olympic swimming team, Madeline Gough (Varsity College Year 12 2017) also made the team last night with the girls going 1 and 2 in the inaugural 1500m Olympic trial. We are looking to have both girls and other Olympians visit Varsity Secondary College next Wednesday in the Sports hall 11am - 11.30am to celebrate one month til the Olympic Opening Ceremony and their sporting success.
