If you don’t have self raising flour you can use plain flour and add 2 tsp baking powder to the recipe! Recipe makes four small bagels, or perhaps two larger... - Ingredients 1 cup wholemeal self raising flour 1 cup plain Chobani yoghurt 1 egg, whisked 2 tbsp Roasted Hemp Seed Crumble (poppy seeds, garlic powder, chilli flakes, sesame seeds, mixed herbs, etc.) - Method 1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees fan forced, and line a tray with baking paper 2. Combine yoghurt with flour 3. Divide mixture into quarters. Roll each quarter into a log then connect ends in the shape of a small ring. Place onto baking tray 4. Brush tops with whisked egg and coat with hemp seed crumble or desired seasonings 5. Pre-Heat a fanforced oven to 180C 1. Mash the bananas and combine with oils, maple syrup, and plant milk. In a separate bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. 2. Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and combine. Add chocolate chips now if using. 3. Spoon an even amount into a greased 12 cup muffin tin. 4. Bake at 180C for 30 minutes. 5. The chimichurri ties everything together perfectly it’s so bomb - I pour it over both the salmon and veg. Salmon is probably my favourite protein choice, because it has way more health benefits than chicken or red meat, and is easier to cook (for me at least - I’m so paranoid about undercooking chicken that I end up drying it out). I used @vassevalle...y hemp hearts for the crust - you can still use the code CHI10 for 10% off!! #gifted Directions below: - Hemp crusted salmon: Brush the salmon fillet with lemon and olive oil, then coat in a mix of hemp seeds, parmesan, and cracked pepper. Place in the oven for 10-12 minutes. - Chimichurri: In a blender, combine a large handful of parsley, 1/2 tsp dried oregano, a little bit of red onion, 1 garlic clove, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp red wine vinegar, a squeeze of lemon, half a jalapeno chilli and salt/pepper. Mix until you reach your desired consistency. Add water if you need to thin out / help it blend. - Thyme roast veg: Coat sweet potato (I used purple and red) in olive oil and fresh thyme. Place in the oven for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, add zucchini and carrot (also drizzled with olive oil and thyme) and cook for a further 10 minutes. 04.01.2022 Cauliflower gnocchi with soy mushrooms and pesto Another vegan dish to celebrate the end of the week This is packed full of flavour, and is a hearty (but lighter!) alternative to your standard gnocchi... why? I substituted potatoes for cauliflower This is a great option for those who want a light meal, or are looking for a lower carb option without ruining the integrity and beauty of pasta ... Serves 1 You'll need: - 220g cauliflower, small florets - 30g 00 flour @lamolisanaromania - 100g mushrooms, sliced - 1/2 tbsp soy sauce @changsasianfood - 1 tbsp vegan hemp pesto (check our website for recipe!) 1. Steam your cauliflower until tender. Remove from heat, and squeeze all the liquid out of the cauliflower by using a thin kitchen towel (or muslin cloth) 2. In a food processor, blitz the cauliflower with the flour. Keep blitzing until it starts to form a dough-like shape/structure 3. Lightly flour a working surface. Turn the gnocchi dough onto the surface, and roll out into a thin cylinder. Cut 1.5 cm gnocchi 4. Sautée your mushrooms in soy sauce until tender 5. Bring to the boil some water in a medium saucepan. Reduce to a simmer and add your gnocchi. Remove the gnocchi 2 minutes after they rise to the surface of the simmering water. 6. In a bowl, combine the gnocchi, mushrooms and pesto.
