23.01.2022 We were proud to work with Qld’s oldest charity The Lady Musgrave Trust and help them promote the launch of their Handy Guide for Older Women. This story from Your Time Magazine tells the stories of 76-year-old Elly and 54-year-old Liesl who have struggled with homelessness since the breakdown of their marriages. As the Trust’s CEO Karen Lyon Reid says, it’s never too late for women to build their own plan for the future and take back control. 12.01.2022 You may remember a few months back where we supported local charity One In Four Children? Well, the 40ft container of books destined for the Nuba Mountains in South Sudan has made it to the Port of Sudan. Below in his own words, Stephen Kumar describes the challenges which still lie ahead in moving the container the last mile. As the Nuba Mountains and Sudan are technically still in conflict, we have placed the container in the custody of the Episcopal Church of Sudan (ECS...) in Port Sudan to give us time to monitor the situation. We are working on a fail-safe plan to proceed once peace negotiations transpire within the next 3 - 6 months. This is a really exciting time; come rain or sunshine we have done what many only dream to achieve in their lifetime. Read original blog post here - https://bit.ly/3eb3EC0

09.01.2022 We recently worked on an exciting new campaign for the wonderful Brisbane restaurant Jumbo Thai. The campaign is called 'Escape The Normal' and will be part of an extensive digital marketing campaign. Below is the thinking behind the campaign: The new normal Get back to normal We’ve heard these sayings on a constant loop all year, almost as much as we’ve used the words unprecedented and challenging. Let’s flip this why not make the new normal about finding your oasis? A... place where you escape reality. Where the noises silence. Forget what the new normal may look like, whether it’s helping the kids readjust after a disrupted year or living on endless Zoom meetings. Come and find Brisbane’s hidden oasis. We've got you. #jumbothai #brisbaneeats #thaifood #brisbanerestaurants https://lnkd.in/gvW9k9E

05.01.2022 Congratulations to our client Jumbo Thai for winning tonight at the 2020 Restaurant & Catering Hostplus Awards for Excellence! Very deserving award

04.01.2022 Vaxa Group’s tender advisory team are often asked: ‘To what extent should a tenderer or grant applicant apply high-end design to impress?’ Greg Bourke explains the visual dimension should be a complement not a response. From a client reviewer perspective, I always advise tenderers to ensure the content and key messages are always in their written response. Reviewers both appreciate and are drawn to visual cues, so they are important and balance is essential. But first ensu...re the written response nails the question. 03.01.2022 Our Project Delivery Associate Dr Mark Harvey discusses the importance of applied organisational ethics and the commonly missed areas in corporate ethical assessments. Re-establishing ethics and rebuilding trust need to be done by someone who understands the research and the behaviours of people who will be responding to the changes. To address this issue and help organisations prosper and operate ethically, Dr Mark Harvey has developed The Raise the Bar program alongside Va...xa Group. Choosing to appoint a third-party who is experienced in applied organisational ethics transfers a lot of liability to them and away from your business.
