02.01.2022 With New Year’s Eve just around the corner it’s important to be aware of the trading hour extensions for licenced venues. Some licence types are automatically extended for New Year’s Eve. If your outdoor area temporary licence has been issued for a public outdoor area, this has also been extended, subject to your council permission. However, outdoor area temp licences issued for privately-owned outdoor areas are not included and licensees will need to apply for an extension of hours separately, free of charge. Information can be found under the temporary limited licence options on our COVID-19 page, see: https://bit.ly/2XTU6VU Please ensure you read the information relating to your specific type of outdoor area temp licence, i.e. public area, privately-owned area or BYO permit.
