18.01.2022 A resident with a keen eye for detail alerted me to this sign with the missing 'Castle Hill' link. tfNSW refused responsibility to fix, so Council staff rectified the issue. All done! Thanks again Leonie, visitors/ tourists to Cherrybrook will no longer be confused. Just head straight down to County Drive (from Shepherds Drive)

14.01.2022 Latest from Council on Appletree Park (Kanangra Crescent Reserve) Landscape Masterplan: Council is proposing to undertake playground renewal works and replacement tree planting at Appletree Park (Kanangra Crescent Reserve), Cherrybrook. Play equipment at the park was vandalised in August and will need to be replaced. The existing Radiata Pines within the parkland are in decline and many have been lost due to storm damage in recent years. Council proposes to undertake replace...ment tree planting in conjunction with the playground renewal. Proposed works include the staged removal of existing trees and replacement planting of new trees in a forestry grid pattern reminiscent of the forests and orchards that were common in the Cherrybrook area in years gone by. The currently proposed works are for Stage 1 only. Stage 2 includes proposed future works that are currently unfunded. Stage 1 will include construction of a new children’s playground, kickabout space, an accessible pathway and circuit path and new tree plantings. Stage 2 works will include new lighting, a picnic area, drinking fountain and new tree plantings. Exhibition Finish Date: Tuesday 20 October 2020 (close of business) Have your say, visit https://www.hornsby.nsw.gov.au//Appletree-Park-Kanangra-Cr
