20.01.2022 In this upcoming episode of Cooking with Culture, Melissa shares a bit of Romanian hospitality with one of her favourite recipe and cultural background story! Premiering this Thursday on YouTube at 7.30pm bit.ly/cookingwithculture-romanian or Adelaide viewers can watch it on Channel 44 at 9.30pm, Saturday 4pm and Tuesday 10.30am.

15.01.2022 This episode is actually quite special as my mum and sister Jenny appears on Cooking with Culture for Vietnamese food! I might be a bit biased in saying my mum is a great cook but food is a big part of our culture! We as a family regularly catch up and celebrate special occasions with a huge feast and this episode is no exception! My parents were immigrants fleeing the Vietnam War, we don't talked about it often but they risked their lives to flee a war torn country to provide us a better life for which I am grateful for. Hear my mums harrowing story and learn a unique recipe for banh cuon and banh khot - trust me it is delicious! Watch it on YouTube at bit.ly/cookingwithculture-vietnamese or on Channel 44 9.30pm tonight or Saturday 4pm and Tuesday 10.30am.

13.01.2022 A great write-up from Citymag to share a VR Songlines project I was involved in. VDigital Creative was invited to mentor First Nations and proud Arabana woman Colleen Strangways from Nharla Photography on VR Production to capture stunning landscapes in 360-degree VR video. In collaboration with Mobile Language Team and Ku Arts we spent a few days out in country to capture beautiful and insightful content to experience by anyone in the world in virtual reality. I am now in the midst of editing this with direction from Colleen to shape an immersive experience to help connect viewers with Arabana cultural stories and songlines! Thanks to Australia Council for the Arts.
