Its takes good loader tractor operators to quickly and efficiently unload 20 metre packs of pipe with a couple of very long trucks lined up on this narrow road . 20.01.2022 Our trenching machinery and pipe install crew are working in the south east installing a close to 2km pipeline for filling a near dry irrigation dam from a Tasmania Irrigation scheme outlet. Ironically the south easts autumn rains began just as we were finishing with 18 month dry creeks running and the dam almost 3/4 full from a few decent rain events. Thats farming for you. 06.01.2022 This isnt irrigation i know but this is a great post . Some old machinery , irrigators and tractors just keep on doing the job year after year better then new stuff with a little bit of love and regular maintenance. The 640DT is a great old tractor and its not green and gold ,plenty of these about as irrigator anchors on soft hose travellers, still going and starting every irrigation seaon like the irrigators they anchor.
