This is something we take for granted but what if we were told what we had to buy? Most of us wouldn't like it but unfortunately this can be the reality when a person with a disability needs modifications to a vehicle to help them drive or get into the vehicle. They are often given no choice or the choice is made for them. Many of th...e existing vehicle modifiers say they offer choice but the reality is often quite different. A vehicle modifier is often bound by supplier contracts and can only offer a certain product or, most regrettably, the product offered is the one the modifier can make the most profit on. VECON is different as it is an independent vehicle conversion and modification broker. We have over 30 years experience and knowledge from within the vehicle modification industry. Our goal is to recommend and then source products to assist you with your transportation solution for both public and private sectors. Being an independent company, we are not bound by supplier or dealer arrangements. We can offer you a wider range of products with unique solutions which can include vehicles supplied from around Australia. Our vision is to source various products and vehicle modifications from a variety of experienced dealers and modifiers. All modifications will comply with relevant mandatory standards and industry principles. At VECON it’s all about you, it’s your vehicle and building it to your exact specification, not a generic off the shelf modification. We will offer advice, recommend products and solutions. We manage the raising of quotes to your specification but you always have the final say of how and where your vehicle is modified. We source some of the products but we don’t install the product and we don’t have a commercial interest in any of the companies that complete the modifications.
