14.01.2022 Have you ever wished for a job where you could sit down? Check this out! Farmer Jamie devised this planting set up to save the backs of the people whose job is to plant every single baby capsicum plant by hand. Planting is well underway here in Bowen. All going well the first fruit will be ready for harvest in early May. And yes harvest is by hand too! As the name suggests, Baby Capsicums are mini versions of the full-sized capsicums. They have fewer seeds and are sweet to eat. We love to eat them fresh, dip them, stuff them with cream cheese and grill them on the BBQ.
