12.01.2022 The benefits to children of learning yoga early are being scientifically proven more and more. The yoga postures (asanas) build strength and teach being ‘present’ in the moment. The pranayama (yogic breathing ) calms down the parasympathetic nervous system inducing a state of calm and peace. The mindfulness (meditation) when practiced over time, calms down the ‘monkey mind’ and starts to re-wire new pathways in the brain through neuroplasticity, leading to a mentally healthier state of being over time. 10.01.2022 Happy Yoga Kidz is changing names! At the end of this year, I will have completed my training to become a qualified 350-Hour Adult Hatha Vinyasa Yoga Instructor! To reflect this change, ‘Happy Yoga Kidz’ will now be called 'VeeYoga’.
