18.01.2022 A shout out to HerbiDoor who offer an online home delivery meal service as well as options available at independent grocery stores, definitely would recommend 100% I recently ordered 10 meals from HerbiDoor and found them all to be very delicious and flavoursome. They have a large selection of nutritious meals available, with many gluten free options also. It is hard for me to pick a favourite, as I liked them all, however I did particularly love the stroganoff (I may have licked my plate at the end it was so good - shhhh, don't tell anyone). I also really enjoyed the Bakon Carbonara immensely. Herbi makes the week easier when you don't have to worry about meal planning or cooking and I looked forward to every single meal, will definitely be ordering again. Fantastic service, thank you!

Adults $10 Kids $8 Sugarshine FARM Sanctuary opened four years ago in LISMORE NSW. We believe that the physical, emotional and mental health of animals deserve nurturing. We take in abandoned, abused, neglected and homeless traditionally farmed animals. We have a strong commitment to helping the animals and people in our local community. Contented Pig Inn is a rescue, rehome and rehabilitation sanctuary for animals; mostly pigs. Set on 17 acres in the hills of Tuntable Creek, and at the end of a dirt road, this relatively new sanctuary has become a haven for a number of rescued pigs, ducks, a few (indoor) cats and two very lucky dogs, while at the same time working with the Wildlife Trust and the Green Army, courtesy of the Lismore Council, to restore native flora and fauna in this exquisite and beautiful place. With limited resources, Kathie has been able to (almost single-handedly) build a safe place for a small number of pigs while she seeks to find forever homes for them. For now, they have the freedom to root in the soil of their enclosure without ever having to face the fear of an abattoir. The herd (currently) is dominated by the matriarch, Vyvyan, a (very, very) Large White pig. The rest of the herd are of a similar breed, although it appears that the grumpy old man of the herd, Dozer, is a Berkshire pig and everyones second favourite, Hermione, is Welsh. Snuggy is the youngest and smallest of the impromptu family and enjoys nothing more than a long, lazy day lying in the food trough. Rosie, the blue-eyed beauty, is slowly working through her anti-social teenage angst while Ellie is currently pining away for her brother, BC, who is in isolation while he heals from his shoulder surgery. Contented Pig Inn is open to visitors by prior arrangement and with monthly volunteer days usually held on a weekend whereas the bank account is always open for donations.

04.01.2022 Sad Topic Alert Positivity is important to us, but we have to talk about a somber subject today: Internet bullying. At Elixiba, we believe in kindness.... Since the start, we placed kindness as one of our core values. And when we say it’s a value, we mean it. Every aspect of our business is operated from a love of kindness: from our plant-based cuisine and sustainable practices, to our refusal to engage in many of the underhanded practices that much of the industry relies on, to the way we support our staff and management team. Are we perfect? Hardly. But as a team, we sure do try and we have built something truly beautiful. Sadly, over the last month, we have been subjected to a string of particularly nasty attacks on the internet. Specific members of our team have been targeted, and we are left scratching our head as to how someone(s) could carry so much anger. In a world where hate is the most common response to hate, we will still choose love. We choose to build up, rather than tear down. We choose forgiveness rather than bitterness.
