16.01.2022 Veganyumm friends We ask that you comply with the Queensland governments directive to wear a mask in public and when entering our store. Medically exempt customers will be served and cannot be refused service. However other customers need to understand that we could have instances where there will be customers without a mask. This puts everyone in a very difficult situation. ... Yesterday we had a customer who refused to wear a mask, not with a medical exemption. An on looking customer was disappointed at our staff not being forceful enough. Our staff had asked twice & were received with hostility to which the customer half covered their mouth with a cloth. This is not an easy situation to be in. Our staff are growing stressed & anxious because of rude & non compliant customers, anyone who is disrespectful to our staff, we have the right to refuse service. Veganyumm fully supports our staff behind the counter for doing such a great job in this difficult time. We are a covid safe venue & will continue to comply with the rules set out for us by Our Queensland government. Veganyumm management
