06.01.2022 The Barnes Hill Community Development Organization (BHCDO) joins CommTalk 268 encouraging others to "plant and prosper." We started on a programme to restore an... 1893-built reservoir and to build a community park around it. We also harbour the hope that the reservoir will be offered protection as a designated national heritage site. The plants we have been able to raise and the food reaped thus far gives members the zeal to continue pushing the development of the overall project. We will soon be able to offer produce for sale to the general public. Check how our soursop and citrus trees are growing well. Check out our peas; okra, corn, sweet potatoes, pommegranates and cassava too. To think we are still experimenting! See more
