21.01.2022 Veg Out St Kilda Farmers' Market - this Saturday... Ever tried walnut oil? Alpine Walnuts have 2 x 100ml bottles for $20 or 3 for $28. Chef's Fine Food will have their tasty lobster, seafood and scallop pies, and slow cooked chunky beef & free range chicken pies - great for dinner at home. Avonmore Estate Biodynamic Wines are taking a break from pruning in the vineyard to bring us their certified biodynamic wine for $15 a bottle. Phillippa’s will have their famed cardamom bun...s, Schulz Organic Dairy are bringing their milk, Warialda Belted Galloway Beef will have their premium cuts of meat and there will be plenty of winter veg available. Food markets, like supermarkets, are essential services, providing access to fresh food. We'll have COVID-19 precautions in place, including hand sanitiser and hand wash stations, increased stall spacing and social distancing measures - with marshals on site to regulate shopper numbers and help maintain queue spacing. Shoppers must follow state government COVID-19 regulations. 17.01.2022 Veg Out St Kilda Farmers' Market - this Saturday... Peninsula Fresh Organics will have coloured cauliflowers (pictured) and fresh leeks. Sensational Berries will have a variety of table grapes grown in Robinvale, fijoas, cherry tomatoes, frozen blackberries and raspberries and perhaps even some strawberries. Chef’s Fine Food will have their tasty lobster, scallop and seafood pies, as well as something special they call a ‘yummy pie'. Moondarra Blueberries will be there and we... welcome back Leadoux Turkeys. And there will also be new season citrus - oranges, blood oranges, mandarines, lemons - plus apples, pears and persimmons and much more. 11.01.2022 Veg Out St Kilda Farmers' Market - this Saturday... It’s peak winter harvest, and we welcome back more of our regulars this Saturday. Beenak Farm will have their sweet new season kiwifruit (pictured), chock full of vitamin C. Avonmore will have their new release wines available - certified Biodynamic and great value @ $15 a bottle. Loves Pantry will have fresh red rocoto chillies, 200gm @ $5. Go Just Nuts will have cara cara and blood oranges, new season feurte avocados and h...ot pistachios nuts. There’s also Warialda Beef, Milawa Chicken, Green Eggs, Hi Fiye Pistachios - and yes, we will have take away coffee from Eureka Coffee. Please note the following: don't attend if you feel unwell masks are man...datory come early and be patient shop and go one shopper per household, and only shop within 5kms of your home. Spring has sprung and so has the asparagus! John from Jonella Farm will have the first asparagus spears of the season on Saturday. He even has some surplus asparagus crowns, so get down early and you may be able to buy some to plant yourself. We will also have fresh milk, loads of fruit and veg, grass fed beef, lamb and pork, free-range chicken, fresh fish and loads more for your #iso home feasting. Our friendly Veg Out market marshals will be there to help with queues and social distancing.
