25.01.2022 Little update on the Subaru Levorg. This car is so badly repaired that we are not even trying to re-repair. It’s getting a new tail lamp panel and left hand quarter panel. IAG (RACV, CGU etc) should be ashamed supporting this kind of behaviour.

24.01.2022 AMA getting fined for performing work without the correctly certified people

23.01.2022 It’s a wonder that half of these issues owners of their vehicle don’t even realise they have.

22.01.2022 Another cost cutting exercise. Pay attention who you insure with and that you get one quote choice of repairer. You don’t need good insurance till you do.

20.01.2022 This nice Subaru Levorg STi got IAG's (RACV, CGU, HBF etc) Quality repair. This vehicle came in smashed, IAG didn't accept the quote from the owners choice of repairer. It was sent to one of their preferred shops. Now its back to be rectified by the repairer the owner wanted in the first place. At this stage we can see the tailgate is not repaired properly, the rear bumper is damaged and the Quarter panel has paint edges in the door jams. I'm sure we will find more problems when the car is stripped. Watch for updates.

16.01.2022 Another well repaired car by RACV in their Preferred contracted set price repair centre RMA. Three goes at a simple job that has now turned into almost a full repaint to rectify. Poor prep work, totally the wrong colour. Alignment issues, damaged chrome mouldings, edges not painted. List goes on. Insure with IAG Group (RACV, CGU, Lumley, HBF, Coles) and you can expect to have your car repaired this way.

14.01.2022 Close enough is good enough they say

12.01.2022 The standard from AAMI continues. Don’t be the next victim.

10.01.2022 We had a client this morning where budget assessed his car and said it has $900 worth of damage. Because the customer didn’t want to use their preferred cost cu...tting shop and the customer not knowing better, agreed to accept their $900 as a cash settlement. The vehicle needs a new tow bar, rear bar reinforcement that is welded to the body, rear bumper, rear bar sensors, boot lid is damaged and to top it off the gas tank needs to be removed. About $4000 worth of work for $900. Now the poor owner is out of pocket over $3000. Budget got a bargain. See more

08.01.2022 More where that came from. Never trust an insurance company.

07.01.2022 It’s a bit like that! The days are over when it was about the client. Now, it’s about the dollar.

03.01.2022 This few month old Mazda CX-9 was recently repaired at a panel shop that is working to a price, not quality. A quarter panel that should have been replaced has been filled (outside only). The bar bracket was ground down to try and make the bumper fit. Inner trim have been broken and urethaned (glued) back on. Tail lamp has been damaged from levering. Sharp paint edges in door jams that should of been painted NOT masked off. Over all a very poor quality job that now requires rectification by someone that knows what they’re doing.
