13.01.2022 It certainly feels that with the current restrictions there is nowhere to go and nothing to do. Restrictions are easing & the weather is improving - perfect for a picnic. Picnics are great on your own to get some downtime & just relax, a fun family thing to do, or meeting that friend for a post-COVID catch-up. If you don't have a park within 5kms during restrictions, why not be creative & have a picnic in your own backyard :)

11.01.2022 Where did Spring cleaning come from? Back in the days when homes were heated by fireplaces & the home was closed up to prevent heat from escaping. The warm weather was an opportunity to air the house & clean it of soot & all the grime accumulated over the winter months. Another reason for cleaning in spring is that warmer weather & longer days work as a stimulant for a lot of people to become more active. And while you're dusting and spritzing and wiping down every surface of your home this spring: just think, you're participating in an age-old tradition that is hundreds if not thousands of years old.
