24.01.2022 Cabbage protein helps fight coronavirus According to a new study from France, foods containing raw and fermented cabbage may be beneficial against coronavirus by reducing a particular compound that helps the virus infect the body. The study found that in parts of the world where cabbage consumption was higher, death rates were low.... There’s also a bit of science to back up the claims: a protein called NrF2 can reduce serious inflammation in the sickest covid patients, with cabbage and cucumber shown to boost the production of NrF2.
