25.01.2022 Canning City Centre update Along with bringing you Cannings first smart street, were working with Georgiou Group to also create an attractive pedestri...an environment, with big street trees, brick paving and improved pedestrian access across Cecil Avenue. To continue our aim of increasing tree canopy cover in the future, as part of the Cecil Avenue landscaping works, were removing 13 trees (all under 20 metres) and replacing them with 37 spotted gums (Corymbia maculate) and 47 London plane trees (Platanus acerifolia). This goes beyond our commitment of replanting two trees for every street tree that is removed. Work will run from 30-31 May and will be at the same time as verge paver removal on Cecil Avenue. With roof steel well underway, we are looking forward to the completion of construction in late 2020. With our first stage, Momentum Apartments completed and sold out, we are currently receiving hundreds of enquiries for what limited rental properties are becoming available.
