24.01.2022 This morning we flew from Canberra to Melbourne to start our second F1 in Schools Australia National Final journey. We look forward to competing against the best in the country. We would like to thank all our sponsors, supporters and parents for their amazing support! This afternoon we have registration where we will submit our cars and portfolios for judging. 24.01.2022 We are happy to announce that Velocity is competing in the F1 in Schools competition for the 2nd year. We are a group of Year 10 students from St Francis Xavier College who have a passion for STEM. We will provide updates of our progress on this page over the coming months. The whole team is very excited to be competing again and looks forward to the challenge.

23.01.2022 UNSW Canberra senior engineering staff were on hand today to mentor and guide students competing in the ACT final of the F1 in Schools competition. This program... also aims to develop skills in problem solving, project management, communication, teamwork, innovation, self-promotion, collaboration, marketing and entrepreneurialism which are clearly identified as aiding in the transition through high school. 16.01.2022 Velocity crowned F1 in Schools ACT State Champions in the professional class!!! Yesterday we competed in ACT State Final and we managed to win the event with a great score. Our score has earned us a spot in the F1 in Schools Australia National Final at the Australian F1 Grand Prix next year in March. We brought home 13 awards and this is a testament to the amazing effort of every team member. We now turn our focus to the national final where we are aiming to score another ama...zing result. 16.01.2022 We recently presented to the year 9 engineering students at St Francis Xavier College about the F1 in Schools competition. We really enjoyed talking to such an engaging group of students about how they can further their STEM education through F1 in Schools!

15.01.2022 Trade Display Setup: Today we successfully setup our trade display and submitted our portfolio's. We are very happy with the finished product and we can't thank Dell Technologies enough for powering our trade display! Tomorrow we have engineering CAD judging and our verbal presentation along with our first round of racing.

14.01.2022 Registration: We can happily say we passed through scrutineering with no critical regulation breaches meaning no time penalties on our cars. This has put the team in good stead as we head towards day 2. Tomorrow we setup our trade display and submit our portfolios before judging and racing on Wednesday and Thursday.

12.01.2022 Judging: Today we finished the last day of judging and we are very happy with the feedback we received. The past two days have been a great opportunity to share what we have learnt through this amazing competition. Being able to show off an amazing innovation we achieved in our double wishbone suspension was amazing. The interest at the event has been incredible as we are the first team in F1 in schools history to achieve such a feat.... We would like to thank all the volunteer judges who gave up their time to provide positive and constructive feedback which has helped us develop many skills we have never been exposed to before. We can't wait for the awards ceremony tomorrow night
