25.01.2022 It was an epic day yesterday over the best climbs the Otways has to offer for our first all womens' ride. 8 hours in the saddle was finished off with icy driving rain. It was a day for the hardcore only. 180km & 2500m of climbing & a stunning backdrop gave the riders a day they won't forget for a long time. Well done to Leah, Irene, Cherie & Rose for enduring & finishing the tough day. Hope you had fun.

20.01.2022 Enjoy hearty, homestyle meals at Velo Otways. This Peppermint Oreo cheese cake is a current favourite.

18.01.2022 Its a stunning morning here at Velo Otways! The guys from Chilli Cycles headed off before dawn to the Odyssey mountain bike event in Forrest. After 100 painful ks its safe to say well have some tired and hungry guests tonight. Burgers (vegan of course) and beers should go down well.

16.01.2022 Meet some of the lovely furry residents of Velo Otways.

16.01.2022 I had the pleasure of working with the Coffee Peddlr at the last Corporate Cycling ride day at Healesville. This beautiful little orange Citron Van was imported into Australia & then retro fitted with a fine coffee machine to make the best soy latte Ive had in a long time. Keep an eye out for them on your next cycling adventure.

15.01.2022 Don and Sue from iBikes heading off with Robin for a little jaunt on the Forrest mountain bike trails. Beautiful day for it.

08.01.2022 Congratulations to Matthias Kiernan for his great winning ride off limit at the Fred Icke Handicap at Creswick at the weekend. He swapped turns with 2nd placegetter Chris Joustra for most of the 133km to hold off a fast finishing scratch bunch that had caught everyone except these two. James Rendall from African Wildlife Safaris & a recent visitor to Velo Otways took out the bunch sprint to finish third and continue his good form.Well done to all finishers in what was a tough & wet race.

08.01.2022 We at Velo Otways were excited to host our inaugural cycling camp over the Easter weekend. The boys from Croydon Cycleworks NRS Team smashed out 600 kilometres over four days of awesome riding. What a great way to kick off Velo Otways Cycling Escapes!

08.01.2022 It was nice to have Mick Steenbuck from Point Cook Cycling Group join me for a leisurely 70km ride to Carlisle River & back on Sunday. We enjoyed beautiful quiet roads, gentle climbs, fresh roadside produce & a sighting of the Otway Panther. Thanks Mick, Chel & Harper for a fun weekend.

08.01.2022 Gotta love the Red Bull Runs.

07.01.2022 A great day out!

07.01.2022 Solo ride over the weekend along the beautiful Turtons Track. This 14km section of road used to be dirt but is now bitumen & is cycling heaven.

05.01.2022 Weve decided to start building our very own mountain bike track at Velo Otways so our guests can take in the peace & serenity of our beautiful bush hideaway. Its going to be a big job & we would love any help & advice to build it. Free weekends up for grabs & oh yes we will still get some rides in.

05.01.2022 Spa time, the very best time of the day. Leah & Cherie enjoying the hot tub after day two at Velo Otways.

04.01.2022 A tough day out for competitors in the Odessy 100km Mountain Bike Race yesterday. It was a matter of the survival of the unfittest for this champ. Great to host the Chilli Cycles crew again!

03.01.2022 We may need to get one of these for the Velo Otways office. Coolest desk ever.

Velo Otways is excited to host the crew from Chilli Cycles - Warragul for the much anticipated ride through some of Victorias best singletrack with plenty of challenging climbs & technical sections. The recent rains have freshened up the tracks for some truly spectacular riding through the lush rain forest that is synonymous with the Otways.
