18.01.2022 Another cake story came to life today. When Birthday boy Farees told me what he wanted for his birthday cake, I was super excited...I saw the opportunity to make something a bit different and out of the ordinary.. Farees loves his 3 pet chickens. The brief from Farees was simple. ‘Aunty I want a cake with my 3 pet Silky chickens on it’. His mum even sent me some pics of the chickens and their coop for inspiration.... And this is what I came up with - ‘Farees Farm’ Cake. To give the cake a rustic look...I made the Chicken coop fully edible....out of rusks, wafers and fondant. The fence was made of pretzel sticks.
